Artist Statement
The greater vision of my work focuses on intersections of history, mythology, and the mysteries of the human experience, seeking to illuminate forgotten or overlooked narratives. By utilizing the uses of oils, acrylics, inks, and digital mediums, I explore themes of good and evil, life and death, and a universal dance of opposites that shape our world. Drawing inspiration from legends, folklore, and nature, I create visual stories that invite reflection on the complexities of our reality.
My creative process is a journey of iterative exploration and research. Each piece begins with careful study—whether through historical texts, mythological accounts, or the nuances of the natural world—followed by a methodical yet intuitive development of composition, design, and draftsmanship. The final work emerges as a carefully crafted visual language, one that conveys not just imagery, but a deeper resonance of ideas and emotions.
Through my art, I strive to connect with those rare or forgotten realms of thought and to evoke a sense of mystery and wonder. My goal is to create works that challenge the viewer to reconsider what is known and to open doors to realms that lie beyond the ordinary. It is in these unexplored spaces—between the tangible and the mystical—that I find my inspiration, and it is through this lens that I invite my audience to engage with the timeless questions that shape our lives.
